Well that’s it!, FINALLY!, Three years of blood, sweat and tears is over for me. Yesterday I attended University for the final time to spend the day with the other fabulous Nurses celebrating our achievements before we graduate in July.
I cannot honestly believe it is over. The past three years have flew by and I never EVER thought I would reach the end. So many times I wanted to throw in the towel but I bit my tongue, shrugged off my feelings of self pity and carried on.
Iv had the BEST time being a student (a “mature” one), iv met some FABULOUS friends who I will have for life and realised the importance of life itself. So quickly our health can change in the blink of an eye and one thing I have learnt over these past three years is to not take anything for granted. We should all live every single second of every day as if it were our last.
Take that trip, dye your hair that weird colour, sing so loud your neighbours complain. Take chances because that’s what life is all about, not just existing but LIVING!
Here are some pics from today, no more lectures for meeeeeeeeee!
