Sunday Funday – Manchester Christmas Markets

This morning started out with an early shift in work for me, 6 am start – absolute killer on a Sunday morning but surprisingly I had a lovely shift.

(picture below of a miserable Lindsay at 6AM)

Just before I was due to finish I had a text off Dave telling me we were off out for tea. Result! No cooking for me on a Sunday afternoon. Winning at life.

So we headed into Manchester to a place called peachy keens, it’s an all you can eat buffet with foods from different countries around the world. Dave had told me the one he goes to down south when he works is brill so we thought we’d give it a go. What a mistake. Oh my giddy aunt. The food was just horrific!!!!!!

We decided after leaving we would head back through Manchester Christmas markets as I have never been to them before and wow, It was like a dream.

An outdoor ice rink, Christmas lights, street food cooking smells in the air, baileys hot chocolate, carousel rides, sweet stalls, it was just amazing especially with it being cold outside. It was so magical. (queue the piccies).

We sang with choir outside whilst sipping our hot chocolates. I don’t know why but it was just so so special!!!! I love making memories with the most two amazing people in the world!

We have just got home now for some hot bubble baths and an early night!, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your sunday x

All my love angels x x
